TILL DEATH US DO PART..........................

Last month I was asked to help photograph a wedding. It was a last minute (literally) deal...so any pictures that don't look the best I will blame on that.... LOL. But really though, it was a good chance to practice my photography some more. It isn't every day that you get asked to help shoot a wedding. The good lookin' groom is actually my cousin. And the head "honcho" photographer was also a cousin (who played various rolls... i.e. bridesmaid, sister of the groom, and so forth :) ). Vows having been said and a covenent made till death, the happy couple is now living in Kentucky (where the wedding was also held).

Pt. 2 to the "Guys" Shoot

Sneak Peak......"The Guys"

Hello all,
For now I am simply going to put SOME pics up of my latest photo shoot with "The Guys". Not an enormous amount of time for editing at the moment(I am leaving the state for a little while) so, until I get back from my trip this little "sneak peak" will have to do. Oodles of thanks to you, Joseph and Jonathan, for being my models for those 2-3 hrs. - and so early in the morning at that (6:00 A.M.)....well kind of early.:) You even did it for longer than the amount of time that I had asked of you. :) Thanks much!!!
For those of you who don't know Joseph and John, they are the best of 'earthly' friends...so, many of their pictures were taken with the two of them together. As always, feel free to critique my pics...just leave any comments on the bottom of the post. :) :) All for now........

Finally getting a post out there once again......

This time I shot the Peterson girls (we are neighbors at the moment, as well as business partners...that is, at least our Dad's are. :) ) Our families have know each other for over 20 years. Anyways, we spent a couple hours or so shooting around their home out here in AZ. And did it ever get hot while we were out there!!! We even tried to start early, 6:30, but we were still sweating and then sweating some more. Definitely not the best time to take pictures in AZ.....but what are you going to do?! ;) Thank you, Peterson girls, for stickin' with me out there in that heat! :)

Abandoned Stables Session

Last week part of my photography group got together to put some of what we have been learning this month into practice. We ended up shooting at some abandoned stables/house near Casa Grande. The setting made for some nice photos. Leah (one of the models) had some nice props (i.e. hats).....that was a plus! :) I still have so much to improve on, but I am working on it.

Girls ONLY Shoot :)

Hello All......This is actually an old shoot from which I am finally posting pictures (seeing that I now have a nice blog on which to post them, instead of simply putting them on Picasa. Which is where I used to post all my pics and may still post stuff on there...here and there.) This was our first mock shoot for my photography class that I am a part of. We did this shoot local....right here in Casa Grande with Carlie and Leah as our models. A thank you to the both of them for taking to the time to be our models. :)  Please feel free to comment/critique.
